I don't know her name

but I call her "Sis".

Some call her George's wife,

hey you or you-who miss .

She has worked at the Red Caboose

since Chris retired.

She is the boss' wife

and she can't be fired. 

She would rather work

at the Kmart store,

waiting on one customer at a time,

no more. 

But at the Red Caboose she is the

cashier, waiter and cook.

No time to read the paper

or write a book.

She has done a great job

at the diner,

accomplished much;

her mistakes only minor.

We will all miss you when you go. 

Don't just sit around and sew,

go back to Kmart 

so you can relax.
