Autumn has arrived with colors beautiful and bright.

I think they are painted by the sun in the day,

and Jack Frost at night.

To the mountains, you don't have to go,

right here in Methuen

nature is putting on

a beautiful show.

To Haggart's Pond

It smooth and cool.

The reflections of all colors

are shown in that pool.

The reds are the brightest

I have ever seen.

The yellows are so crisp,

it's hard to believe they

were ever green! 

These colors are in style every year,

just about when the football fans start to cheer!

So don't miss this display of beauty.

Show it to the children and the elderly. 

It's everyone's duty.

I can't remember ever seeing autumn so nice.

So go out and enjoy autumn

before the leaves and the ponds

turn to ice.
