TEARS IN MY EYES
By John king

I cant drive with tears,
 in my eyes.
I asked my eyes to see
you any more.
I told them to,please
look at the floor.
I told my hands to not
 touch you again,
But they are still
beging and beging.
I told my lips to forget
your gentle kiss,
That I adored, and
 I will always miss.
I pleaded with my heart
 not to be sore.
I told my feet not to dance
 with you any more.
If only my mind would stop
 thinking about you,
Then the cloudy sky,
would become a bright blue.
Forget how loveing she was,
I told my heart.
That has been impossible
from the start.
And how she combed my hair.
And how she loved me,
When I wasn't there.
Forget how she nursed
me every time.
But that was when
she was mine.
Forget how she adored me
with her eyes.
But that was before her
wonderful love died.
To say I could forget her
 wonderful love.
Would be a sin, and
an unforgiveable lie.
