Sailing
By John King
Sailing is ware i would rather be.
Changing the wind and the sea.
I can feel the rooling motion,'
of the beautiful blue ocean.
I can feel the power of every wave.
and have the serenaty that i crave.
I can sail alone with out end,
with only the fickle wind for my friend.
Sleep comes easy at the end of day,
As my boats rests in Beverly bay.
When i hear the halyards tapping on the mast,
They sound like wind chimes, made of glass.
This is the music that lulls me to sleep.
as my boat rests on the ocean so deep.
Yes sailing is ware i would rather be.
Riding the wind and the sea,
But when the ocean starts too roar,
I would rather be SITTING ON THE SHORE
