No Snow Here

      It's January in Florida, and the weather is cool;

      Fishing is bad and nobody's in the pool.

 

      Up north it is ten below;

      They stay home and shovel snow!

 

      We will stay in Florida 'till the first of May;

      Then back to Massachusetts and Beverly Bay.

 

      So seventy degrees really isn't so bad

      When we think of the north and the snow they've had.

 

      Tomorrow we'll go to the causeway, and fish all day;

      And think of our friends  up north shoveling away!
